Bailey Lonnberg

Silver Wings National Business Chair

SW NBC - Bailey Lonnberg

Bailey was born in Brighton, Colorado, and was raised in a nearby farm town by the name of Keenesburg. He graduated high school from Weld Central with a 3.8 GPA, holding 40 college credits, was Chapter President of the Future Farmers of America Chapter, a Student Council Member, Co-Captain of the Football Team, and was a top Varsity competitor for the Track Team. Colorado State University's Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology program brought him to Fort Collins, and he is currently in his senior year pursuing his Bachelors of Science in the program. Bailey was introduced into Silver Wings from friends, and has become a huge contributor to his chapter. He held the office of Chapter President after he initiated, created several new events for his chapter, and has helped increase the number of members with strategic recruiting. Outside of Silver Wings, Bailey is also a member of the CSU Rodeo Club, and will be riding bareback in the 2017-2018 season.

Bailey's leadership and FFA background has prepared him greatly to hold the National Business Chair position. During his time in the FFA, he was on the Parliamentary Procedure Team, Livestock Judging team, and also competed in Extemporaneous Speaking. Those experiences built his knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order, increased his speaking ability, and fine tuned what it takes to be a leader for any situation.
