ACTION MEMORANDUM FOR ALL AAS/SW AREA AND REGION COMMANDERS AND PRESIDENTS: FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION TO ALL MEMBERS

SUBJECT: PAID INTERNSHIP; BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING, TALENT MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING FOCUSED STUDENTS WITH PALO ALTO NETWORKS  

FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

1.  The AAS/SW Executive Management Center is accepting immediate applications for as many as three positions with Santa Clara California based Palo Alto Networks.  THE SUSPENSE FOR APPLICATION SUBMISSION IS 12 NOVEMBER 2017 AT MIDNIGHT PACIFIC TIME AND EARLIER APPLICATIONS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.  More detailed information for each internship is below Brig Gen Woodward's signature block.  Quick summary of positions and qualifications position are:

POSITION ONE: ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS/TRAVEL AND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT TEAM

POSITION TWO: HUMAN RESOURCES TALENT DEVELOPMENT TEAM/LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR 

POSITION THREE: MARKETING

2.  THESE ARE PAID INTERNSHIPS AND RELOCATION COSTS MAY BE COVERED, IF REQUIRED.  Successful candidates will be required to live in the Santa Clara California metro area during these internships.  These internships are open to all Silver Wings and Arnold Air Society sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students.  Cadets and civilians are eligible; civilians are strongly encouraged to apply and may be considered for a full-time position with Palo Alto Networks following graduation.   

3.  These internships require impeccable dress and appearance.  

4.  SELECTION PROCESS

Successful candidates will be nominated to Palo Alto Talent Management by the EDs following a phone interview and/or discussion with the applicable Detachment Commander and/or reference provided by the candidate.  An additional interview with a member Palo Alto Networks may be required.  The following will be used to further evaluate individuals:
