Annie Lin
Hickam Chapter
University of Hawai'i - Manoa
Annie has been involved with Silver Wings since the middle of Fall '15 when efforts were made to reactivate the Hickam Chapter at University of Hawai’i - Manoa. Since then, she has continuously looked for avenues to promote the chapter's well-being and assisted in establishing a strong foundation for the chapter by representing the chapter at both NATCON and ARCON, as well as continuously pushing for improving joint relations with our local AAS squadron. In addition, Annie took the initiative to start 2 fundraisers and assisted in organizing a community service event for the chapter. Annie's involvement with Silver Wings on a chapter, regional, and national level has allowed for us to build a steady foundation for the chapter itself and the members thereafter.

Steven M. Scherp Chapter
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Our chapter set up a Police Breakfast for the Prescott Police Department. We cooked all the food and then transported it to the station where we served it to all the employees who were at work that day. It was really an awesome experience, and our second year setting it up. We spoke with the acting Sergeant and the Captain. Both were highly appreciative of our efforts, especially with the appearance of police in today's times and looked forward to working with us in the future.

Steven R. Nagel Chapter
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
We packaged 1200 lbs of pasta, which converts to 544311 g of pasta. There are 305 g of food in a standard 10.75 oz can, so we packaged the equivalent of 544311/305 = 1785 cans ready to be distributed (rounding up to the nearest whole can)

Joey Best
Steven R. Nagel Chapter
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Joey exemplifies Silver Wings' objectives of personal development, professional development, and civic awareness. Through his leadership -- during a difficult time in the chapter's life -- he has brought up many of his fellow members into positions of responsibility, not only to better the chapter as a whole, but to help with the development of those involved, both as individuals and as professionals. Joey holds civic awareness in the highest regard. He has been at the front of multiple opportunities to give back to the community -- mostly in support of the JNP. At every service event, he is always the first to arrive and the last to leave; he makes sure the job gets done and that it gets done well. Joey lives the Silver Wings motto: Knowledge, Wisdom, and the Courage to serve. While maintaining his status as an exceptional student, Joey applies his expertise for the betterment of Silver Wings, despite initial hesitation in taking a larger role in his chapter.

John "Boots" Stratford Chapter
Auburn University
As a chapter at Auburn University, we strive to promote Silver Wings on campus as often as possible so that we may demonstrate knowledge, wisdom, and the courage to serve. One way that we do this is through our Auburn University Silver Wings website. On this website, I have posted pictures and lots of information. I have included: an about us section, our mission statements, contact information, and a calendar of all events throughout the month. On our website, we have also published pictures and a recruitment video for viewers to enjoy. There is also a link to our social media accounts so that visitors of our site may follow and us. We advertise our website via flyers and newsletters on campus.

Asif Asad
Martha E. Metz Chapter
NC State University
Congratulations to Silver Wings' December Member of the Month, Asif Asad! As financial officer of NC State University's Martha E. Metz Chapter, Asif has demonstrated since his induction in 2014 strong leadership abilities, utmost integrity, and an outstanding work ethic that has guided himself and his colleagues toward a successful and bright future. From heading campus-wide T-Shirt sales that raise military awareness during Military Appreciation Week to assisting the chapter in all organizational functions, Asif has stepped up as a member in putting himself outside of his comfort zone by tackling any weaknesses with sound and well-thought solutions. His optimism for Silver Wings and amiable personality are qualities that his fellow members commend him for, and he sets the standard to how any member should conduct themselves every day. Fantastic work, Asif!

Roberto Amaya
Steven M. Scherp Chapter
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
He has been stepping up since the beginning of the semester in the Community Service Committee by spearheading events and assisting in every way possible. When our acting Projects Officer stepped down due to time conflicts, he volunteered his time immediately and has risen to the position. We are now heading back on track as far as our community service goals are concerned because of his recent efforts.

John P. Hyde Chapter
University of Cincinnati
The John P. Hyde Chapter of Silver Wings participated in the local Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention; the event served as a local outreach to the families and friends of those who know someone, or are personally struggling with: depression, suicidal thoughts, or suicide. Our chapter helped volunteer at this event to ensure its success and then participated in the walk in order to erase the stigma surrounding our culture pertaining to mental health awareness. Furthermore, the John P. Hyde Chapter wants to emphasize how important AFA relations are to the rest of the region this year; our chapter president worked with our detachment commander so that he could speak with our local AFA chapter.

Whitney Willms
Major Dennis H. Sattler Chapter
Clemson University
Whitney is the Silver Wings CSCOP for the Major Dennis H. Sattler Chapter. The Clemson chapter implemented the CSCOP role this semester and she is the first to take on that role. Although it has only been a few months since she took over this position, Whitney has worked hard in promoting joint relations with Arnold Air Society by working closely with their CSCOP, Victor Gamble, and the ARCOP, Caleb Knight. Clemson is well known for having a strong relationship with our AAS squadron and Whitney has done so much to help strengthen those relations. She helped plan out a joint exec meeting that helped the chapter and squadron be on the same page in terms of social events, fundraisers, and service events. Whitney works above and beyond to help our chapter and the AAS squadron communicate and work together.

David L. 'Bullit' Curtis Robinson Chapter
Northern Arizona University
The Robinson chapter hosted a fundraiser for their chapter at American Legion Post 33. They prepared a dinner meal and sold it at the bi-weekly Bingo event hosted by American Legion. This fundraiser not only helped to promote Silver Wings in the public eye but helped their members raise money for more future fundraisers and NATCON.
