AAS-SW Woodward Pentagon Internships 2026 (Suspense: 2359 EST, 17 February 2026)
1. The AAS-SW Executive Management Center is accepting nominations for eighteen (18) Woodward Pentagon Internships for the Summer of 2026. We thank the Air and Space Forces Association (AFA) for their generous sponsorship of this program.
2. ELIGIBILITY. Open to AAS-SW Juniors, Seniors and fifth-year students who are cadets under contract, including those graduating this summer who will be commissioned and awaiting entry into active duty. Applicants must be in good standing (current dues paid) to remain eligible. All exceptionally motivated, eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
Note: Interns are required to possess a valid SECRET (or above) clearance. AAS and SW contract cadets with a clearance pending may apply but must confirm in writing that the Detachment Commander expects a clearance will be obtained by May 2026 if selected.
3. APPLICATION. Candidates will self-nominate by completing the fillable Pentagon Internship Application form. Send completed pdf form and transcript copy to mgmt.center@arnold-air.org. All submissions must be received NOT LATER THAN midnight Tuesday, 17 February 2026, Eastern Time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
4. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Successful candidates will be required to live in the Washington DC metro area during these internships and must be able to cover all other expenses beyond the $1,500 stipend provided through AFA Sponsorship. Individuals are responsible for securing their own housing.
